Dare the kingdom to awaken!
Make it light its fires and
Dance its dances — leaves swaying
From each gentle gust for you.
The Kingdom must inspire!

No psalm from any harp nor lyre
Would leave a minstrel’s lips
Nor stanzas from a poet’s pen
Lest the world gives reason.
Demand to be in awe!

Insist that waves should crash
Or gently roll ashore at your
Request. Let the world proclaim
Through everything it does
With all its heart the words

“I am inspiration! Verses
To be written, stories told.
Praise my leaves, my wings,
My changing hues. Praise
My perseverance and my cunning.

Write for I am beautiful!
I overwhelm with words unspoken.
You are my voice and I
Have much to say through you.
I am like you.”

When it speaks its cryptic words,
The massive tides have turned
For you and I, through all we do,
With our whole heart and soul must
